There’s been a lot of innovation in the digital health space over the past few years. And the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the use of technology in both traditional and non-traditional care settings. With that, however, comes a new set of risks and challenges for providers and technology companies.
Digital health stakeholders need to prepare for, and address evolving issues such as bodily injury, mental anguish, and data breaches. As we discuss in this video, they need to think very broadly about areas where technology creates new liabilities and exposes an organization to risk.
